Pensioenfonds PGB was named Pension Fund of the Year at the Pension Pro Awards. Chairman of the Board Hans Veltkamp reacts enthusiastically to winning the gold award. "This award is wonderful recognition of the course we have chosen as Pensioenfonds PGB."
According to the expert jury, Pensioenfonds PGB demonstrates that strategic stability, clear choices and societal relevance can go hand in hand. Especially during a challenging period in which many pension funds are working on the transition to the new pension system. For example, we supervise this transition for over 4,000 employers.
The jury mentions our Wtp customer portal, the processing of 420 transition plans, risk management and our sustainable, passive investment approach, among other things. We are proud of that. And we are especially grateful to all colleagues who contribute to this every day.
"In a period when much is changing regarding pensions, we believe it's important to offer calm, clarity and confidence", says Veltkamp. "We do this together with employers, social partners and our implementing organisation. I'm proud that both the jury and the public appreciate that."
The other pension funds that were nominated are Pensioenfonds Horeca, Pensioenfonds Rail en OV, and Pensioenfonds Schoonmaak.
Pensioenfonds PGB also took home the silver award for Best Pension Fund with assets under management > €15 billion.
